When Dad was by himself, and building on a hill, he would either start at top of hill, and roll out new wire downhill (use gravity= little effort ), then throw that metal handle over the ball hitch of the pickup, and take complete roller and wire uphill again for the next line, later, he decided to just "unroll" both directions, so at the bottom of the hill, he put 4wd pickup in LOW range, and pickup in granny LOW, and slowly drive back up the hill, pulling roller with ball hitch again. Little WD40 sprayed on the base makes it spin nice and easy, too easy if you get going to fast. Any more than two at a time and if you go any distance at all it can get to be a mess. Building a 5 barb fence with steel and wood posts. Would like to unroll 2 or 3 rolls at a time. Looking to build something for the front of the skid loader to unroll wire.
